Family migration: two years on from the new rules

9 July 2014, House of Commons

This meeting considered the latest evidence about the impacts of the family migration rules across the UK, and looked closely at the position of lower income families outside London. It followed up the work of the cross-party APPG on Migration inquiry which reported in 2013, and asked how far these rules are compatible with a fair and balanced approach to immigration, and with a family-friendly policy agenda.
